Name: Parameswar Nayak
Dr. Nayak is a passionate teacher in Human Resource Management and a corporate trainer, well known for his participative style of teaching, a management consultant, an academic administrator and a professional social worker.
He has over twenty seven years of experience in teaching (in India and overseas) at the post graduate level, academic administration, training, research and consultancy. Prior to joining BIMTECH, Bhubaneswar as Director, he has worked as Professor (HR & OB) and Chairperson, Centre for Management Development & Consultancy at BIMTECH, Greater Noida, Professor & Director of I.T.S-Institute of Management, Greater Noida (NCR-Delhi), Dean & Professor at KIIT School of Management, KIIT University, Bhubaneswar, Professor & Director-Academics at Amity Business School, Amity University, Noida, Director, Amity University, Bhubaneswar Campus, besides his services at Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar, BCT- Indian Institute of Health Management Research(IIHMR), Jaipur and Delhi University.
He is a trained trainer. He has conducted over 180 training and MDPs in public and private sector, such as NTPC,NSPCL,NLC,NHPC,JSPL,JPL,IFFCO,NBCC,NIPM,RSP(SAIL), THDC, PowerGrid, GAIL, SJVN, FCIL,HZL, UCO Bank, Allahabad Bank, UNICEF, and the Indian Red Cross. He has been invited as visiting Professor, keynote speaker/speaker/participating conferences by Universities and institutes of repute, both in India and abroad(Europe, Tanzania, Nepal and USA) and to conduct MDPs in OMAN.
Dr. P. Nayak is an alumnus of Delhi University, India. He is a post graduate and PhD in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations. As a professional social worker, with a Master Degree in Social Work from Delhi University, Dr. Nayak has been instrumental in setting up of two rural hospitals, one each in Rajasthan and Odisha, and provided consultancy services to a number of NGOs in India for their rural development projects. He has completed twenty three consultancy projects funded by the National and International organizations.
He has received ‘Elvina’- the Luke Award of Delhi University and a doctoral fellowship from ICSSR, UGC’s Junior Research Fellowship with NET qualification. His publications include two books and several research papers besides his doctoral guidance. He is a Life member of professional bodies like ISTD, ISTE, SSAI, SACH. He is a member of Knowledge Committee of PhD Chamber of Commerce, New Delhi and a member of the ISTD’s Testing & Certification committee.

i) Doctoral Research Guidance Doctoral Degree Awarded: Ph. D Degree awarded to: Mr. Arun Kumar Rath by KIIT University ,Bhubaneswar on the topic- “Towards Better Corporate Governance– Contributions of Independent Directors to Board Functions in Navaratna PSUs” under my guidance. He is currently a Professor at IMI, New Delhi, India. Ms. Archana Chaudury by KIIT University on the topic-“Turnaround Management in Rourkela Steel Plant- An HR perspective” under my guidance. She is currently Assistant Professor at BIMTECH, Bhubaneswar, India.
