Birla Global University and The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) virtually on 30th September 2020 in the presence of CS Ashish Garg, President ICSI, CS Nagendra D Rao, Vice President ICSI, Prof.(Dr.) P. P. Mathur, Vice-Chancellor BGU. The other dignitaries present during the event were Prof. (Dr.) B.K. Das, Registrar BGU, Prof.(Dr.) Samson Moharana Dean BSoC, Dr. Hemant Bhanawat, co-coordinator and representatives from Bhubaneswar Branch of ICSI Dr. S.K Jena, faculty members and students of BGU
The objective of this MoU is to explore areas of mutual collaboration and cooperation between BGU and ICSI for offering various academic collaborations and programs exclusively for the students of BGU and company secretaries. This MoU envisions creating synergies between BGU and ICSI in research, teaching and training program
Prof. (Dr.) P. P. Mathur, Vice-Chancellor BGU said that “this initiative will bring out an academic collaboration between ICSI and Birla Global University and it will benefit both the institutions.”
CS Ashish Garg, President ICSI said that “the core foundation and one of the major objective of the ICSI is to make a significance role in bringing academic excellence across the Nation and move towards the holistic development of all its students, members and other stake holders.”
Prof. (Dr.) B.K. Das, Registrar BGU thanks the ICSI for taking such a nice step for joining hands with various universities for academic collaborations.
