Birla School of Management, Birla Global University organized a national conference on HR in the new normalon 5th December 2020 in a virtual mode. The program started with the ceremonial lighting of the virtual lamp. The inaugural session was graced by eminent dignitaries like Mr. R. Vikraman, Director-HR, Neyvelli Lignite Corporation India, as the Chief Guest, Dr. Sarat Kumar Acharya, Former Chairman & Managing Director, NLC India as the chief speaker, Dr. G P Rao, Founder, Good People Relations HR Consulting LLP as the Guest of Honour, Mr. Rajeev Kumar, Vice President-HR, L&T Infotech Ltd, Prof. (Dr.) P.P. Mathur, Vice Chancellor, Birla Global University, Prof .(Dr.) B. K. Das, Registrar, Birla Global University, Prof.( Dr.) P. Nayak, Conference Chair & Dean, Birla School of Management. There were two technical sessions and had Mr. Samar Mahapatra Group HR Head of Shigan Quantum Technologies and Shigan Evoltz as the Chair and Mr. Ajaya Kumar Sahoo, Executive Director (Group Corporate HR), RP Sanjiv Goenka Group and Mr. Barttanu Das, Head-Human Resources, Heavy Civil Infrastructure IC, L & T Constructions, Chennai as keynote speakers.
The conference gave a platform to all the researchers, academicians, and HR leaders to discuss and deliberate HR related issues engulfing the organizations during the pandemic. A number of papers were presented in the conference. The convenor of the conference was Dr. Archana Choudhary, HOD, OB and HR area and the vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Snigdha Mohapatra, Co- Convenor of the conference.
