Dr. Ricky Mohanty is an accomplished academician, researcher, and technology innovator with over 20 years of teaching experience at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Information Technology. She holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi, specialising in Pattern Recognition and Neural Networks, with a doctoral thesis on the classification of bird species. At Birla Global University’s Birla School of Management, she brings deep interdisciplinary expertise spanning Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Business Analytics, IoT, and Blockchain technologies. She is the recipient of two Indian Design Patents and has published extensively in SCIE/SCI and Scopus-indexed international journals. Her research contributions span neural networks, deep learning, healthcare diagnostics, signal processing, and distributed systems.
