Birla Global University (BGU), Bhubaneswar organized the commencement day programme of the newly admitted students of MBA 2024-26 batch on 3rd July 2024 at Gothapatna Campus. Mr. Subrat Tripathy President , Business Development, Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd. graced the occasion as Chief Guest and delivered the commencement day address.
Mr. Subrat Tripathy , in his address focused on India’s rich history of knowledge and ancient wisdom to inspire the students to achieve their goals of becoming a successful human being . Mr. Tripathy referring the quote of Mahatma Gandhi “be the change you wish to see” engaged the students by necessitating on the importance of bringing the change in the society. He also analyzed the importance of the rapid business and industrial developments and how to become physically strong with exercising, eating healthy food which will help them be stronger to face the future challenges.
Prof. P. P. Mathur, Vice-Chancellor, Birla Global University in his presidential address focused on personalized learning of being a liquid learner or a constant learner. He also in his speech mentioned how thankful he is to the parents for putting their trust on Birla Global University.
Prof. B. K. Das, Registrar, Birla Global University spoke on future scope of MBA and how students can put technology like AI to good use. He also mentioned about building the right attitude which is essential for a job and encouraged the students for entrepreneurship.
Dr. Parameswar Nayak, Dean, Birla School of Management, delivered the welcome address by highlighting the importance of MBA program and said that students should engage in doing the right things at the right place at right time.
The programme started with the rendering of the BGU “Kulgeet” (University Anthem) and lighting of the ceremonial lamp. The commencement day concluded with the vote of thanks by Dr. Vivek Mishra, Assistant Professor, and MBA Programme Coordinator, Birla Global University. The event was attended by Dean of schools, faculty members, parents and newly admitted MBA students.
