The commencement day program for the 2nd batch of BAJMC (Hons) and 6th batch of MAJMC students of Birla Global University was held on July 30, 2018 here at its campus. Renowned academician and Professor, School of Communication, University of Hyderabad, Dr. Vasuki Belavadi and Eminent Journalist Ms. Aditi Rajput, Associate News Editor and News Anchor, NDTV India graced the occasion as Chief Guest and guest of Honour.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Vasuki Belabadi urged the students to be diligent while pursuing the course and acquire the expertise to be a successful journalist. Dr. Sudhakar Panda, Vice Chancellor, Birla Global University extended a warm welcome to the esteemed guests, dignitaries, new students and parents on this occasion. Dr. B.K. Das, Registrar, Birla Global University, said the University would surely play a pivotal role in transforming these new entrants into accomplished media professionals. Prof. Shiv Shankar Das, HOD, Birla School Of Communication also spoke.
