Birla Global University, Bhubaneswar organized the commencement day program of newly admitted UG and PG students in a hybrid mode. Prof. Rishikesha T. Krishnan, Director, IIM, Bangalore graced the function as the chief guest. Prof. H. Chaturvedi, Member Board of Governors and Director, BIMTECH Greater Noida was also present on this occasion. Prof. P. P. Mathur, Vice Chancellor, Birla Global University, Prof. B. K. Das, Registrar and Deans of different schools, faculty members and newly admitted students of were also present. The program started with the rendering of Saraswati Vandana. Prof. B. K, Das, Registrar gave the welcome address and welcomed all the students and the dignitaries. Prof. Krishnan gave the commencement day address and said that students should develop skills and qualities like planning for both known and uncertain futures, scanning for information and make contingency plans, developing entrepreneurial mind set, understand and appreciate technology, collaborate and demonstrate ethics and integrity in both personal and professional life. Prof. Chaturvedi spoke on the importance of innovation and entrepreneurship in the growth of India. Prof. P. P. Mathur gave the presidential address and said that BGU has taken the initiative of implementing NEP 2020. He also spoke on the importance of collaboration in future endeavours and how proper guidance to students was required for better education Prof. P. Nayak, Dean, Birla School of Management and Birla School of Social Sciences and Humanities, Prof. Samson Moharana, Dean, Birla School of Commerce, Prof.L.K. Deb, Dean, Birla School of Law, Prof. J. S.Giri Rao, Dean, Birla School of Communication and Prof. Sushanta K.Mandal, Dean, Birla School of Applied Sciences also welcomed the students and inspired the students with their encouraging words.The commencement day concluded with the rendering of BGU kulgeet.
