Birla School of Communication has been awarded the 'Best Mass Communication Institute' at the three day National Media Conclave held at KIIT university from 21-23 November, 2019.The conclave which was attended by the top journalists and leading media educators of the country, had more than 600 delegates from India, Bangladesh, Bhutan and Nepal.The award was conferred to Birla School of Communication by the Honorable Speaker of Odisha Legislative Assembly Shri Surjya Narayan Patro in the presence of Mr.Ruben Banerjee, Editor in Chief, Outlook, Former DG, IIMC, Mr. K G Suresh and other dignitaries.The conclave was inaugurated by Shri Bimal Julka, Chief Information Commissioner, Government of India.Prof. Shiv Shankar Das,,Head.Birla School of Communication received the award from the Honorable Speaker of Odisha Legislative Assembly Shri Surjya Narayan Patro.
