Eastern India Regional Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India had organised a career counselling webinar on “Chartered Accountancy: a career option” in collaboration with Birla Global University on 22.06.2021.
The Chairman of EIRC ICAI, CA. Sunil Kumar Sahoo was the resource person for the webinar. He motivated and encouraged the young students with his varied experiences of practising for more than 28 years.
Prof. Dr Samson Moharana, Dean, Birla School of commerce, BGU delivered the welcome address and highlighted the growing importance of professional education in the dynamic financial environment. He also proposed more of such academic collaborations with ICAI for the betterment of all the stakeholders.
Ms Susmita Sen, student counsellor, EIRC, ICAI made a presentation on the pathway of being a chartered accountant and unlimited opportunity of the course.
The session was moderated by Ms Neha Joshi, Assistant Professor, Birla School of Commerce, BGU. Dr Hemant Bhanawat, Assistant Professor, Birla School of Commerce, BGU gave the formal vote of thanks on the occasion.
