Doctoral Program in Management in BGU Inaugurated
Birla Global University (BGU) started its first Doctoral Program in Management under the School of Management on 24.10.2017. The program was inaugurated by Prof(Dr.) Sudhakar Panda, Vice Chancellor of the University in the august presence of Prof(Dr.) B K Das, Registrar of the university and Prof(Dr) P Nayak Dean School of Management, Prof(Dr.) Samson Maharana, Professor in Charge of Commerce, Birla Global University was also present and shared his experience with the scholars. Controller of Examination Prof(Dr) Bimal Mishra addressed the scholars with PhD rules and regulation of the University. Faculty Members of the University were also present during the inauguration of the program. A rigorous process was followed for selection of the scholars under the prescribed guidelines of the University Grant Commission. This is the first major move by BGU in terms of introducing Doctoral program. This is going to open up the path for future research scholars to pursue their Doctoral program under the umbrella of Birla global University. All the eminent speakers had given emphasis on the quality research and also emphasized on what is expected from the scholars. It was being categorically said that University is committed to have quality research in the area of management and looks forward to start Doctoral Programs under its other schools. At the end Vote of Thanks was extended to Vice Chancellor and others.
