Birla School of law in collaboration with Startup Odisha and Lex Protector, Bhubaneswar have conducted Hybrid Conference on"Commercialisation of Intellectual Properties - IP Monetization & Tech Transfer"
The speakers are:
- Mr. Amitava Chakraborty (IPR Advisor, USA, Former Asst. Prof. at KIIT University with over 15 years of experience in IPR Management and Technology transfer within USA and India)
- Mr. Aurobinda Panda (Founder and Managing Partner of Lex Protector, India with over 9 years of experience in the field of Trademark, Patent, Copyright, and IP Management and Valuation)
Aim of the event:
- Awareness regarding the commercialization of IP.
- Exposure to various methods of IP utilisation.
- Increased interest in IP valuation and Auditing.
- Scope of interaction between IP creators and investors.
- Laying the foundation for smoother Technology Transfer agreements at the international level.
6.Skill development and employability in IPR was the key focus .
Under the guidance of Dean ,Birla School of Law Prof ( Dr) Lalit Kumar Deb the conference was successful.
Students from Law and Management participated in hybrid mode.
45 students were in offline mode in Birla School of Law under Birla Global University.
