The Birla School of Commerce, Birla Global University, Bhubaneswar organised the One Week Faculty Development Program on the topic "“Methodology for Advanced Research and Quality Publication” from 21st to 25th March, 2022. The program was held for five days by having two sessions each day. In each session eminent resource persons fervidly apportioned their knowledge and information regarding the various methodologies used for quality publications, which illuminated everyone.
The FDP was coordinated by Dr. BP Bijay Sankar, Asst. Professor, Birla School of Commerce, Birla Global University, Bhubaneswar. Prof. (Dr.) Ravi Kumar Jain, Professor & Director, Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM), Hyderabad and Prof. (Dr.) Jamini Kanta Pattanayak, Professor, Indian Institute of Technology (ISM), Dhanbad joined the Inaugural session as the Guest Speakers accompanied by Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, Birla Global University, Prof. (Dr.) P.P.Mathur, Registrar, Prof.(Dr.) B.K.Das and Conclave Chairperson & Dean, Birla School of Commerce Prof.(Dr.) Samson Moharana.
All the sessions’ discussions were equally star-studded with eminent resource persons from premier academic institution like:
Prof. (Dr.) G Soral, Former Dean and Professor, Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur on the topic “Samping Design in Research”
Prof. (Dr.) Uma Sankar Mishra, Professor and Head, Central University of Rajasthan on the topic “Factor Analysis”
Dr. Pradipta Kumar Sanyal, Associate professor, Birla Global University who enhanced the knowledge on the topic “Predictive Modeling”.
Dr. Suvendu Kumar Pratihari, Asst. Professor, Birla Global University on the topic “Content Analysis”
Dr. Siddharth Misra, Asst. Professor, Birla Global University on the topic “Hypothesis testing” and “publication techniques”
Dr. Biswajit Acharjya, Asst. Professor, Birla Global University on the topic “Introduction and working with R Software”
Question and Answer sessions were also arranged for the participants to clear the doubts and learn as much as they can. A Concluding Remarks and Vote of Thanks were delivered by Dr. BP Bijay Sankar, Asst. Professor & FDP Coordinator, Birla Global University, Bhubaneswar.
