Brief Profile
Dr. Biswajit Acharjya is a faculty in Finance and Business Analytics, Birla School of Management, Birla Global University, Bhubaneswar. He holds Doctorate from Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore; MBA from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar and B.Tech from College of Engineering and Technology (CET), Bhubaneswar. Prior to that he was working as Assistant professor at Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), Ahmedabad. He has experience of 7+ years in both industry and academia.
His research and publication span various topics such as – Behavioural finance, Gold investment, Soft Computing, Machine Learning, and Cultural heritage. Dr. Acharjya attended many workshops and conference in the field of data analytics using R, Python, and Tableau. His PhD thesis applies advanced soft computing techniques such as rough set, fuzzy rough set, formal concept analysis and many hybridized models of soft computing and machine learning in the fields of finance and Behavioural finance. His teaching interest includes Business Analytics, Data Visualisation and Data Mining, Soft Computing, Machine Learning, Statistical Analysis using R, Financial Management, Behavioural Finance, and Research Methodology.
