Brief Profile

Dr. Purnendu Kumar Patra has a PhD in Management from Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith, Varanasi. Before joining Birla Global University, he had been associated with School of Management Sciences, Varanasi. He has over 15 years of experience in industry and academia.

His areas of interest include strategic management, marketing management, consumer behavior and more recently, digital marketing. His research has centered around rural development, rural consumer behavior, ancient Indian knowledge systems and works on the Bottom of Pyramid. Besides academic research, he also has a novel to his name.
