BGU organized virtual international student e-exchange program

The first virtual International Student e-Exchange Program on the theme “Making an Impact via Social Innovations” organized by Multimedia University (MMU) and co-organised by our Birla Global University, Universitas Mercu Buana (Indonesia) and Universitas Pakuan (Indonesia). In this program, students from ASEAN countries, South East Asian countries and European countries participated. A total of 387 participants from 18 Universities (Multimedia University, Birla Global University, Universitas Mercu Buana, Manchester Metropolitian Universit, University of the Cordilleras, Firebird institute of research in Management, Universitas Pakuan, Universitas Muhammadiyah Kudas, BRI Corporate University, UniGlobe College, Kasetsart University, Universitas Nahdulatal Watahan, Universitas Muria Kudus, Universitas Riau, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional, Universitas Islam Riau, P.R. Pote Patil College of Engeneering and Management, University Islam Indonesia) from Seven countries (India, Malaysia, Phillipines, Indonesia, Thailand, Nepal and United Kingdom) were the part of this student e-exchange program. A fee of USD500 per student were fixed initially however, as Birla School of Managemnt (BGU) was an international partner university for this student e-exchange program, our students were allowed free to participate in this program.From BGU, Prof. Parameswar Nayak, Dean BSOM was appointed as one of the advisor and Dr. Pritish K. Sahu was appointed as one of the co-Chair for this International Student e-Exchange Program. Prof. Nayak was also invited as a panelist in the discussion and delivered a talk on the ‘social innovation’ theme.

Birla Global University has a MoU with Multimedia University (Malaysia) since 2019. Earlier our students from the Birla School of Management had gone to Multimedia University (Malaysia) in 2019 in two different batches for their Industrial visit.
