The School of Engineering and Technology, BGU organized the Commencement Day Program to welcome the newly admitted B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering 2024 batch students on 9th September.
Dr. Suresh Chandra Satapathy, Director, Doctoral Research and Publications, School of Computer Science KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Dr. Satapathy encouraged the students to cultivate a positive attitude, emphasizing that it will transform their lives. He urged parents to have faith and trust in their children, supporting them in shaping and planning their future paths. His motivational speech set the perfect tone for the commencement occasion, inspiring both students and faculty members.
Prof. P.P. Mathur, Vice Chancellor of Birla Global University, in his Presidential Address, highlighted that experimental learning and self-learning will enable students to reach great heights. At the end, Prof. Mathur wished all the very best to the newly admitted students for their future endeavours.
Dr. S.K. Kuanar Associate Dean, Birla School of Engineering and Technology, welcomed the new students and their parents. Dr. Kuanar emphasized the need for students to stay focused and adaptable in the rapidly evolving technological landscape, encouraging them to consistently acquire and refine relevant skills.
Dr. Bandita Sahu, Assistant Professor, School of Engineering and Technology gave the formal vote of thanks. The event was attended by Dean of schools, faculty members, parents and newly admitted B.Tech students.
