Birla Global University (BGU) is one of the fastest-growing private Universities in India. It is committed to academic excellence, industry-driven learning, innovation, and holistic development. Established under the Birla Global University Odisha Act, 2015, Birla Global University is a self-financed, unitary university on a sprawling 30-acre campus at Bhubaneswar.
BGU campus is a fully-residential, air-conditioned, Wi-Fi enabled campus with state-of-the-art infrastructure. The campus is spread across an area of 30 acres, with nine blocks of buildings. More than 50% of the area is kept green on the campus with existing philosophy of learning in the lap of nature. The buildings set among the lush-green landscaped garden, have been designed to provide high standards in all respects.

Residential facility at BGU is one of the best if not the best in India that ensures safety and security with facilities like 24*7 CCTV within the whole campus as well trained security arrangement at both Boys’ and Girls’ Hostels. BGU can boast of a modern library, play fields, a basketball court, Table Tennis and other recreational facilities which are there not only for insiders, these facilities also have distinction of hosting several national level events.

Basant Kumar Birla (1921 – 2019) & Sarala Birla, successors of G.D.
