Seminar on Transforming India

The Three Days National Seminar on 'Transforming India: The Significance of Digital Education in Accomplishing "Viksit Bharat @2047" was organized by Birla Global University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha in collaboration with Consortium for Educational Communication -CEC-UGC, New Delhi.

The inaugural session commenced with Revered Chief Guest Prof. J. B. Nadda, Director, CEC, addressing the gathering in the august presence of the Esteemed Vice Chancellor, Prof. P. P. Mathur, and Hon’ble Registrar, Dr. B. K. Das.

Dr. Shiv Shankar Das, Chairman of the Organizing Committee, delivered the Welcome Address, followed by Dr. Gyanaranjan Mishra, the Convenor, introducing the seminar's theme. Ms. Lopamudra Nayak, Co-convenor of the Organizing Committee, extended the Vote of Thanks.

The Day 1 of the Three Days National Seminar on "Transforming India: The Significance of Digital Education in Accomplishing Viksit Bharat @2047", organized by Birla Global University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, in Collaboration with Consortium for Educational Communication - CEC-UGC, New Delhi from 13th - 15th March 2024, featured three plenary sessions.

The first panel discussion, by Birla School of Applied Sciences, focused on 'Impact of Emerging Technologies on Education: Navigating the Digital Frontier,' with eminent speakers including Prof. Rajeeev Srivastava from BHU, Dr. Debasish Jena from IIIT Bhubaneswar, and Dr. Sanjay Kumar Kuanar from Birla Global University.

The second panel discussion, by Birla School of Communication, discussed 'Digital Media, Audience, and National Development: Issues and Challenges', featuring speakers Dr. Rajeev Kumar Panda from KIIT University, Dr. V. Vijay Kumar from XIM University, and Dr. Shiv Shankar Das from Birla Global University.

The third panel discussion, by Birla School of Management, explored 'Strategic Innovations in Business Administration: Driving Digital Education, Transforming India, and Realizing Viksit Bharat @ 2047', with speakers Mr. Lalit Sharma, Director, Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship, Ms. Shyama Jha from Millet Magic Foundation, and Prof. Parameswar Nayak from Birla School of Management.

The day concluded with an enriching cultural program, offering a blend of insights and entertainment.

Day 2 of the Three Days National Seminar on 'Transforming India: The Significance of Digital Education in Accomplishing "Viksit Bharat @2047," organized by Birla Global University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, in Collaboration with Consortium for Educational Communication - CEC-UGC, New Delhi from 13th - 15th March 2024, featured two plenary sessions and three technical sessions.
Continuing into another day of the Three Days National Seminar, the discourse persisted with thought-provoking discussions and insightful reflections.
The fourth panel discussion, led by Birla School of Commerce, explored 'Digital Integration in Accounting & Finance Education: Shaping Future Finance Professionals of Developed India' with notable speakers including Prof. Samson Moharana from Birla School of Commerce, Prof. Ambika Prasad Pati from North Eastern Hill University, Shillong, and Dr. Rabindra Kumar Swain from Utkal University. The session was moderated by CA Bisworanjan Sutar, a leading Chartered Accountant from Bhubaneswar.

The fifth plenary session , hosted by Birla School of Social Sciences & Humanity, delved into 'Digital Economy as a Key Driver of Economic and Social Development: Challenges and Prospects' featuring speakers Dr. Mitali Chinara from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, Dr. Naresh Chandra Sahu from IIT Bhubaneswar, and Dr. Mahendra Nayak, Director, AIML COE, IQVIA GDC Bangalore. The session was moderated by Dr. Ajit Kumar Dash

The second half of the day witnessed engaging paper presentations, further enriching the discourse on digital education and its transformative potential to make India a developed country.
