The Department of Economics, Birla School of Social Sciences and Humanities bid farewell to the graduating batches of BA Economics 2019-22 and MA Economics 2020-22 on 28 May 2022.The ceremony was arranged beautifully by the junior batches.
Prof. (Dr.) P.P. Mathur, Honourable Vice Chancellor, Prof (Dr.). B. K. Das, esteemed Registrar and Prof. (Dr.) Samson Moharana, Dean Birla School of Social Science and Humanities graced the occasion. The program started with the welcome address by Dr.Ajit Kumar Dash, HOD and Coordinator, BSS&H.
Prof. Mathur encouraged the graduating students and wished them a successful career ahead. Prof Das touched upon the memory of being an economics student and cheered the students to work hard and achieve success in their life. Prof. Moharana focused on the practical application of economics and the increasing demand of economist in the market. He wished the graduating students for their bright future ahead.
Honourable Vice chancellor and other dignitaries presented mementos to the graduating students as token of memory and love. The graduating students shared their experiences. They thanked the faculty members and university as whole for care and good learning environment.
The students of junior batches conducted various cultural programs. Everyone participated with joy.
