The National Service Scheme Bureau (NSS) of Birla Global University, Bhubaneswar organized a Walkathon to create awareness among the public regarding the "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign. The objective of this Walkathon is to invoke the feeling of patriotism and encourage all to bring Tiranga home and hoist it to mark the 75th year of India’s Independence. Students, staff and faculty members of the University participated in the Walkathon by holding the unfurled National Flag to create public awareness regarding the significance of the Har Ghar Tiranga from Kalinga Stadium Bhubaneswar to the Police Commissionerate Office, Bhubaneswar. Shri S. K. Priyadarshi, IPS, Commissioner of Police (Bhubaneswar-Cuttack), and Regional Director NSS, Ms. Sarita Patel, addressed the students on this occasion.
