Birla Global University celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day with great enthusiasm, bringing together the spirit of patriotism, student achievement, leadership, and creative expression. Organised by the Cultural Committee, the celebration commenced with the hoisting of the national flag, followed by inspiring addresses by Vice Chancellor Prof. Kulbhushan Balooni and Registrar Mr. Tanmay Kumar Pattanayak.
Reflecting the university’s commitment to holistic development, the celebration brought together academic recognition and vibrant campus life. The programme featured the introduction and badging of the new University Student Council, the presentation of the B. K. Birla and Sarala Birla Merit Scholarships, and the release of the campus magazine, Indradhanush. Student speeches, along with energetic musical and dance performances, added to the spirit of the occasion.
Through a celebration that brought together national pride, academic excellence, student leadership, and creativity, Birla Global University continues to foster a campus community where students are encouraged to learn, lead, participate, and excel beyond the classroom.
