Birla Global University, Bhubaneswar successfully completed a Five-day Research Scholar’s Week on 9, April 2021 on online mode. More than seventy research scholars from different disciplines had joined the program. Research Scholars from premier institutes of India like IITs, NITs, AIMs, Central Universities, State Universities, and many other reputed institutes of India had participated in the program. Scholars from foreign countries like Bangladesh and Tanzania had also joined the program. The program was inaugurated on 5 April by Prof. P.P Mathur, the honourable Vice- Chancellor of BGU who delivered the inaugural address and gave an in-depth understanding of the Overview of Research in the first session highlighting quality publication and the importance of developing an innate curiosity in a researcher. Prof P. Nayak, the Dean Birla School of Management, in his address to the participants, elaborated on the types of research. During the five-day program, the resource persons from BGU and the foreign universities delivered on several aspects of research: Research Problem Identification, Research Designs, Literature Review in an Age of Information Overload, Scientific Writing Using Latex, Genre of Academic Writing, and Getting Published in Quality Journals. Eminent resource persons like Prof Noemi Sinkovics, from the University Auckland, New Zealand and Prof Jon Hall, Chief Editor, Wiley, from the Open University, the UK delivered their sessions from their respective places. The program was organised by the Centre for Research (CFR), Birla School of Management. The head of CFR and convener of the program Dr Anubha Ray welcomed the participants and introduced the objectives of the program and Dr Pradip Kundu and Dr Sandeep Kumar Mohanty, the co-conveners proposed a vote of thanks.
