The Birla Global University in collaboration with The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) organised a Webinar on 'Skill India’ on 13th May, 2022 from 04.00pm-5.15pm.
The session was started with formal introduction of guests by Dr. Hemant Bhanawat. CS Jyotirmoy Mishra, Chairman ICSI Bhubaneswar Chapter enlightened on the benefits and recent developments in the company secretaries course.
CS (Dr.) Mohit Shaw, Faculty at Bhawanipur Education Society College,Kolkata joined the session as a Resource person and addressed students, faculty members of BGU and other participants. He gave a detailed view of the importance of Skills by giving a glance at the real life examples. He also elaborated on the different types of Skills and how Skills plays being another step towards self-reliant India with focus on new concepts of Interpersonal Skills.
The session was chaired by Prof. Samson Moharana, Dean, Birla School of Commerce and moderated and coordinated by Dr. Hemant Bhanawat, Assistant Professor, Birla School of Commerce. Dr. R.K.Mishra proposed the vote of thanks.
The session was extremely insightful and participants put several pertinent questions which were answered by the resource person.
