Birla Global University, Bhubaneswar signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Institute of Finance Management (IFM) Dar-Es-Salaam, Tanzania on September 5, 2023, which is also celebrated as Teachers’ Day in India. IFM is a Government higher learning Institution established in 1972 to provide training, research and consultancy in banking, insurance, social protection, taxation, accountancy and business-related disciplines.
The MoU was signed by Prof. P. P. Mathur, Vice Chancellor, Birla Global University and Prof. Josephat Daniel Lotto, Rector, Institute of Finance Management Dar-Es-Salaam, Tanzania. The MoU was signed in the presence of Prof. B. K. Das, Registrar, Birla Global University, Prof. P. Nayak, Dean, Birla School of Management, Prof. Samson Moharana, Dean, Birla School of Commerce, Prof. Tadeo Satta, Professor and former Rector, IFM, Dr. Bernard Mnzava, Senior Lecturer, IFM, Dr. P. K. Sanyal, Associate Professor and Dr. Archana Choudhary, Associate Professor and Chairperson, International Relations Committee. The MoU between the two institutions will promote international understanding, increase scientific cooperation, and develop research and instruction in areas of common interest. The cooperation will also promote student and faculty exchange, collaborative conferences, research and other programs that will immensely benefit both institutions.
